Felicitation ceremony organise at Pushp Enclave for becoming Deputy Mayor
30-11-2022 : A felicitation ceremony was organised at Pushp Enclave of Ward 56 Gangyal in RS Pura-Jammu South constituency. The function was organised by the Pushp Enclave Welfare Society for becoming Baldev Singh Billawaria as a Deputy Mayor. The president of the Pushp Enclave Welfare society RC Thakur along with members of the society honored the Deputy mayor, Baldev Singh Billawaria presented shawl and bouquet.
On the occasion, locals of the area put forth the issues related to Jammu city. The Deputy Mayor assured the general public that many developmental works are going on in the Jammu city under Smart City Project and soon all the developmental works would be completed in a phased manner. Expressing gratitude, Deputy Mayor Baldev Singh Billawaria said that he will always be grateful for the love that people have given him. Billawaria said that the Jammu Municipal Corporation would leave no stone unturned to get all the developmental work to be completed that is still pending in the Jammu city. Deputy Mayor JMC said that today, I am here to talk about the smart city initiative that our city is embarking upon. As many of you know, our city is taking steps to become a more sustainable, efficient, and technologically advanced place to live. We are aiming to become a “smart city”. A smart city is a city that uses technology to improve the lives of its citizens. This includes reducing traffic congestion, better sanitation, providing access to clean energy, improving air quality, and creating a more efficient government. We are working hard to make sure that our city is ready to take advantage of the latest advances in technology. We are looking forward for the installation of intelligent traffic lights, which will help in reducing the congestion and improve safety.
We are confident that these changes will make our Jammu city more efficient and sustainable. We hope that you will join us in embracing this smart city initiative and help us make our city a better place to live. Pushp Enclave Welfare society showed their belief and faith in the Deputy Mayor and assured him that they will always support him.
