Five JKAS Officers in Ladakh Given Additional Responsibilities
UT Administration Delegates Extra Responsibilities Across Key Departments
Leh, Oct 21: The Union Territory administration in Ladakh has issued an order assigning additional responsibilities to five JKAS officers as part of administrative restructuring.
According to the official notification, Huma Khan, Deputy Registrar Cooperative, Leh, will now also hold the position of Superintendent, Handloom, Leh. Sarwar Shahzad, currently serving as District Social Welfare Officer, Kargil, has been directed to additionally serve as Deputy Registrar, Cooperatives, Kargil.
Atul Singh Mankotia, Under Secretary in the Labour & Employment Department, will now take on the additional charge of Under Secretary, Science & Technology Department. Sanjat Bhardwaj, Under Secretary in the Information Technology and Social & Tribal Welfare Department, has been given the added responsibility of Under Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayati Raj Department. Meanwhile, Anupam Bhardwaj, Under Secretary in the Home and Vigilance Department, will also handle the additional charge of Under Secretary, Forest, Ecology & Environment Department.
The move is part of the UT administration’s ongoing efforts to optimize departmental functioning and ensure seamless governance across Ladakh.
