From ‘Kantara’ to Telugu Cinema: Gulshan Devaiah to Star Opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu
Actor steps into Telugu cinema with a challenging role under Samantha’s production banner, Tralala Moving Pictures
Mumbai, Dec 04 : Actor Gulshan Devaiah is set to make his Telugu cinema debut alongside Samantha Ruth Prabhu in her upcoming film ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’, produced under her banner, Tralala Moving Pictures.
Known for his bold and unconventional choices, Gulshan has recently gained acclaim for his performance in the Kannada blockbuster ‘Kantara’ and is preparing for the Tamil web series ‘Legacy’ with R. Madhavan. Speaking about his Telugu debut, he called the opportunity “a dream come true” and expressed excitement at working with Samantha.
The film recently held its official mahurat ceremony, and Gulshan shared behind-the-scenes photos on social media, which quickly generated excitement among fans. While he remains tight-lipped about the plot, he revealed that his role is challenging and demanding, and he is putting in full effort to do justice to it.
Gulshan has previously impressed audiences with memorable performances in films like ‘Shaitan’, ‘Hate Story’, and ‘Hunterrr’, as well as web series including ‘Afsos’, ‘Duranga’, ‘Dahaad’, ‘Guns & Gulaabs’, and ‘Bad Cop’. These projects have helped him build a strong fan base and showcase his versatility across formats.
Before this Telugu venture, Gulshan appeared in the web series ‘Perfect Family’, which premiered on November 27 on the Jar Series YouTube channel. Directed by Sachin Pathak, the series also stars Manoj Pahwa, Seema Pahwa, Girija Oak, and Neha Dhupia. The show explores social stigma around therapy in India, following a family that considers itself “perfect” until circumstances force them to confront hidden issues.
With ‘Maa Inti Bangaram’, Gulshan Devaiah is set to further expand his footprint in Indian cinema, taking on a new challenge in a regional industry while teaming up with one of the biggest stars of Telugu films.
