Jammu, 22 September 2025:BJP Spokesperson for J&K UT, Gaurav Gupta, hailed Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji’s visionary call for reviving the Swadeshi spirit, describing it as a defining moment as India steps into a new era of self-reliance and economic strength.
Gupta said that on the eve of Navratri, the Prime Minister gave a clarion call to every Indian to consciously embrace Made-in-India products and strengthen the foundation of Atmanirbhar Bharat. “Just as Swadeshi played a pivotal role in the freedom struggle, it must now become the cornerstone of India’s economic resurgence,” he added.
Gupta highlighted that the Prime Minister had rightly underlined the crucial role of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in this journey. “These enterprises have been the backbone of India’s golden economic past and will be the torchbearers of our future,” he said, adding that the implementation of GST reforms from today will provide a powerful boost to MSMEs, enabling them to compete more effectively in both domestic and global markets.
He also noted that the Hon’ble Prime Minister stressed on world-class quality standards in Indian manufacturing so that the words ‘Made in India’ become synonymous with trust, credibility, and excellence worldwide.
Quoting the Prime Minister’s powerful message, Gupta said: “Every citizen’s purchasing choices contribute to national growth. We must proudly say – Garv Se Kaho, Yeh Swadeshi Hai.”
Gupta emphasized that this renewed push for Swadeshi, backed by concrete reforms like the new GST framework, is not just an economic reform, but a national movement. “Every household, every shop, and every industry has now become a stakeholder in India’s growth story,” he concluded.
