Ganesh Chaturthi: Nitin Nabin Offers Prayers at BJP Headquarters
BJP chief seeks blessings for the nation’s prosperity and continued progress
NEW DELHI, Sep 14: BJP national president Nitin Nabin offered prayers to Lord Ganesha at the party headquarters in New Delhi on Monday as the country celebrated Ganesh Chaturthi.
During the religious ceremony, Nabin prayed for the happiness, prosperity and well-being of the people, while seeking blessings for the continued development of the country under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Speaking to reporters after the prayers, the BJP chief expressed hope that the nation would continue on its path of progress and achieve greater recognition globally.
He also wished for happiness, enthusiasm and celebrations to remain a part of the lives of people across the country.
Referring to the ongoing Rajasthan urban local body elections, Nabin said the BJP was witnessing encouraging results in several municipal corporations in the state. He expressed confidence in the party’s performance and sought Lord Ganesha’s blessings for BJP workers as well as citizens.
Several BJP leaders and party functionaries attended the programme at the headquarters. Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh was among those present during the occasion.
