GDC Dudu Basantgarh Empowers Students with Seminar on “Investing in Women: Accelerate Progress” on International Women’s Day
March 9, 2024, In commemoration of International Women’s Day, GDC Dudu Basantgarh organized a seminar under the theme “Investing in Women: Accelerate Progress.” The event witnessed active participation from the college’s Principal, staff, and students, all coming together to celebrate and discuss the empowerment of women.
The seminar showcased the empowerment journey of women across the nation, with students enthusiastically contributing to the dialogue. Led by esteemed speakers including Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal, Dr. Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, Dr. Mehraj Ud Din Dar, and Ms. Vanita, the seminar inspired valuable thoughts and insights among the attendees.
A total of 20 students took part in the seminar, sharing their perspectives and suggestions on the empowerment of women. Their active involvement demonstrated a keen interest in the topic and a commitment to contributing positively to societal progress.
Principal Prof. Anirudh Sharma delivered a motivational address, urging students to actively engage in promoting women’s empowerment. He emphasized the importance of respecting and supporting women, recognizing them as the backbone of society.
The seminar concluded on a positive note with refreshments served to all attendees, fostering a sense of camaraderie and community among the students and staff alike.
