GDC Dudu Basantgarh organize Essay Writing Competition “Empowerment of Women and Children”
21-02-2023 : Degree College Dudu Basantgarh, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mhotsav, organized Essay Writing Competition on the theme “Empowerment of Women and Children.
More than twenty students of the college took part in the competition. On the basis of overall assessment and evaluation of the content, clarity of thought and precision of diction , Santoshi Devi of Sem-3rd clinched 1st position whereas, Ranjeet Singh and Arti Devi of Sem-3rd shared 2nd and 3rd position, respectively. For the judges, it has become very difficult to short list the winners as all the students have written beautifully on the given topic.
While speaking on the occasion, worthy principal of the college Dr Bhavnaish Chand Anthal congratulated all the winners, and appreciated all the participants and coordinator of AKAM. He advised all the students to respect and honor everyone irrespective of gender, class, religion etc. He further guided the students, especially girls, to become aware and enlightened so that nobody can suppress and oppress them at domestic, social, institutional, and economic level. He also asked the students to become an important and integral part of New India Mission espoused by the government of India.
At the end of the program, a formal vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Vijay Kumar. The other staff members presented on the occasion were Prof. Rahul Sharma, Prof Pradeep Kumar Kundal, Dr Javed Chopan, Mr Tariq Ahmed and Ms Sheetal Devi.
