GDC Dudu Basantgarh organizes Essay writing competition on “Indian Freedom Movement”

UDHAMPUR, AUGUST-10:- Government Degree College Dudu Basantgarh today organized an online Essay writing competition as a part of the weeklong celebration under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’.

The event took place under the supervision and guidance of the Principal of the College Dr. Bhavnaish Chand. The aim of the event was to pay homage to the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the country’s independence.

Students of the College participated in the event with zeal and zest and shared their views on the life of Gandhi Ji and different movements during the British rule in India. Students elaborated the movements in a sequence manner to show how India got freedom from British rule

In the Essay writing competition, Nitu Devi, Manisha Devi, and Sapna Parihar were adjudged Ist, 2nd & 3rd, respectively. The event was organized by Prof. Rahul Sharma and Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal in which E-certificates were given to all the winners.

The Principal of the College congratulated the winners of the competition.
