GDC Dudu Basantgarh Organizes Inter College Quiz Competition on the Life and Teachings of Mahatma Gandhi
11-08-2021: Government Degree College Dudu Basantgarh organized an online Inter-College Quiz Competition on the “Life & teachings of Mahatma Gandhi” to commemorate ‘Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav’. The event was one among the series of events scheduled to celebrate the 75 years of independence.
About 60 students from different Colleges of J&K UT participated in the event with great enthusiasm and made the event successful. The basic aim of the event was to familiarize the students about the life & teachings of Gandhiji and how he dedicated his life to pursue truth and Non-violence and using this as a weapon played a key role to achieve independence from the British rule and left an everlasting legacy for all of us.
The Competition was organized by Prof. Pradeep Kumar Kundal and Prof. Rahul Sharma under the supervision and guidance of the Worthy Principal of the College Dr. Bhavnaish Chand. In this competition, Ms. Meenaksi Devi, Mr. Tanish Thangri, and Ms. Nitika Kumari all from GDC Chenani clinched Ist, 2nd & 3rd positions respectively. The principal of the College congratulated the winners of the competition.
