GOVERNMENT POLYTECHNIC JAMMU ORGANISE WORKSHOP ON SOFT SKILLS

 10-05-2023 : Department of Travel & Tourism Management and Instrumentation & Control Engineering of Government Polytechnic Jammu today organized a one day workshop on “Soft Skills”. The workshop was inaugurated by Er. Arun Bangotra, Principal Government Polytechnic Jammu, who encouraged the students to make maximum benefits of such workshops and try to inculcate soft skills such as writing, and communication skills to enhance their employment opportunities.

Ms. Neetu Dhar Khajuria, knowledgeable Soft-Skills Trainer who has a sound understanding of needed traits for workplace success and strong ability to train on diverse levels and fields was a resource person. She has extensive experience of 15 years to train on soft skills, giving presentations, holding workshops and delivering orientation programmers. She worked in organizations like Frankfin Institute of Air hostess Training, University of Jammu, Aptech Aviation, M.I.E.R, as a resource person.

The workshop was attended by 4th and 6th-semester students of Travel and Tourism and I&C branches were present for the program. Er. Ashok Verma and Gagan Pratap Singh have coordinated the Program. The seminar was concluded with the vote of thanks by Sh Gagan Pratap Singh. Other presents on the occasion were faculty members Mr Amit Sharma, Mr Dhiraj Kumar, Ms Sakshi Kapai, Ms Harmeet Kaur, Ms Ruchi Mahajan, Ms Priya Bandana.
