Govt enhances Wages of Daily Wage Earners

JAMMU: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has issued an order to increase the wages of Daily Rated Workers and Casual Labourers in all Government Departments, Municipalities, and Local Bodies by Rs 11. The order states that workers who are currently receiving a wage of Rs. 300 per day will now be paid Rs. 311 per day, effective from October 17, 2022.

This decision was made by the Finance Department of Jammu and Kashmir and an order was issued in this regard.
