Govt plunged every section of society into miseries: YNC

JAMMU NOV 28TH : Youth National Conference today accused the district administration for plunging every section of the society into miseries due to its totally hollow policies. The administration has adopted a callous attitude towards the general public due to which people have been forced to face the official apathy in absence of basic amenities.

This was stated by Tejinder Pal Singh (Aman), District President YNC while interacting with people of Ward 44and 53 here today.

Addressing the gathering, Singh said that the situation has turned from bad to worse. He asserted that due to the anti-people policies adopted by the government that today

unemployment is at its peak, inflation has gone out of control amid the sky rocketing prices of essential commodities while the claims of unprecedented development stand exposed with the snail’s pace of almost all the works. He said that the government has miserably failed in providing basic amenities like water, power and ration to the common person of the state. He said that due to lack of vision and wrong policies of the government, people of J&K are facing a crisis like situation with each segment of society feeling abject neglect.

Tejinder Pal Singh said that the people of Ward 53 Basant Vihar Trikuta Nagar are facing acute shortage of potable water. “Everyday Jammu city has witnessing protests and demonstrations in every nook and corner of the Jammu city with regard to shortage of power and water but all in vain. Besides the Municipal Corporation has also giving step motherly treatment by forcing them to stay in dark. The people of the aforesaid wards have been deprived of Street lights. Despite raising up the matter with the authorities concerned nothing has been done to address the woes of general public,” he said.

Tejinder Pal Singh termed it unfortunate that people were being subjected to immense suffering for want of basic amenities like power and water in absence of popular government in Jammu and Kashmir. He said that due to lack of vision and wrong policies of the government, people of J&K are facing a crisis like situation with each segment of society feeling abject neglect. The present government has failed to ensure delivery at the basic levels like availability of ration, power, health, education sector and unemployment, he added.

Nitish Goswami Provincial Sec. YNC Jammu appealed to the Lt Governor to direct the authorities concerned to resolve the problems being faced by general public failing which they have no other option to come on roads to highlight their issues.
