Ground-level workers form backbone of BJP: Kavinder

Modi Govt schemes meant for all, with no prejudice or partiality: Ashok Koul

JAMMU, June 12: The strength of BJP depends on the dedication and hard work of its ground level workers as they act as ambassadors of the party and reach out to masses to disseminate the party’s policies and plans.

This was said by senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta while addressing a gathering during the District level Gareeb Kalyan Sammelan being held here on Sunday.  The meet was organised by BJP Jammu District under the stewardship of President Jammu District BJP, Vinay Gupta. Kavinder said that the Gareeb Kalyan Sammelan was held as part of the celebrations of 8 Saal Seva Sushasan Aur Garib Kalyan, a fortnight long programme meant for celebrating 8 years of Modi Government in power. He said that under this programme the local BJP leadership carried out a massive outreach programme wherein party cadre interacted with the common masses and divulged about the achievements of the party and its future perspectives which will further move the country to newer heights of development and prosperity. He said that people are giving overwhelming response and promised undaunted support to the party.

The senior BJP leader said that during the door to door campaign, one thing came to fore that there is not a single household in the vicinity which is devoid of benefits of schemes launched by the Modi Government. He said that every household has received benefits under one or the other scheme of the Modi government. “Every household reaping benefits of centrally sponsored schemes. Whether it is Ujjwala, Ayushman Bharat, startup, other schemes initiated under the Modi regime, people have taken benefits of the maximum schemes”, he said, adding that governments under Atal Bihari Vajpayee or Narendra Modi have one thing in common that the both were corruption free and ensured that the benefits of government schemes reach at the last man standing in the line under the Antyodaya mission.

Speaking on the occasion, Ashok Koul, General Secretary (Org), BJP J&K, said that schemes launched by Modi Government are meant for all as the same are not designed for a particular set of people. He said that the schemes and policies of the Centre are free from any kind of discrimination as all the eligible beneficiaries can avail the benefit without any prejudice.

Ashok Koul laid stress on party cadre to disseminate the good work done by the BJP government in last eight years so that the people can understand the importance of BJP at the centre and accord phenomenal support to the party in the upcoming Assembly polls and also the Lok Sabha polls to be held in 2024.

During the concluding remark, Kavinder said that programme to commemorate the 8th anniversary of the BJP Government at the Centre has given wider scope to the party men to spread awareness about party’s achievements through man to man contact which has greater impact on the electorate and it is expected that more and more people will join the party fold in the coming time to further strengthen BJP, which is in the interest of the country for the party being the only nationalist party in the country, with not lacunas.

During the Sammelan, Varinder Jit Singh and Yudhvir Sethi Vice Presidents BJP J&K; Rajiv Sharma, former MLA Akhnoor; Purnima Sharma Deputy Mayor and Vikram Randhawa former MLC also spoke on the occasion.
