Haryana Offers Up to ₹3 Lakh Tractor Subsidy for Scheduled Caste Farmers

Haryana, Jan 13 : The Haryana Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare has invited applications under the Tractor Subsidy Scheme for 2025–26 to support and empower farmers belonging to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

Eligible farmers can apply online through the department’s official portal, www.agriharyana.gov.in
, till January 15, a government spokesperson said.

According to the department, Scheduled Caste farmers registered on the “Meri Fasal Mera Byora (MFMB)” portal and owning agricultural land are eligible for the scheme. Land registered in the name of any family member under the Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP/Family ID) will also be considered valid.

Under the scheme, eligible beneficiaries can avail a subsidy of up to ₹3,00,000 per unit on the purchase of tractors with 45 horsepower (HP) or above.

Selection process and payment details

The spokesperson said beneficiaries will be selected through an online draw conducted by the District-Level Executive Committee, chaired by the Deputy Commissioner.

After the purchase of the tractor and physical verification, the subsidy amount will be directly credited to the beneficiary’s bank account registered on the MFMB portal.

Eligibility conditions

To qualify for the subsidy, applicants must:

Be a resident of Haryana

Belong to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category

Not have availed a tractor subsidy under any departmental scheme in the past five years

The tractor purchased under the scheme cannot be sold for five years from the date of purchase, the department added.
