Bhopal, Sept 16: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Madhya Pradesh on September 17, his 75th birthday, to launch a series of landmark initiatives focusing on health, nutrition, and economic development.

Among the major announcements are the nationwide campaigns ‘Swasth Nari Sashakt Parivar’ and the 8th Rashtriya Poshan Maah, running from September 17 to October 2, aimed at strengthening nutrition awareness and women’s health.

The Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stone of India’s first PM MITRA Park in Dhar, spanning 2,150 acres. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including a Common Effluent Treatment Plant and solar power plant, the park is projected to generate nearly 3 lakh jobs and attract investment proposals worth over ₹23,140 crore from leading textile companies, significantly boosting India’s textile exports.

In a major health push, PM Modi will distribute one crore Sickle Cell Screening and Counselling Cards in Madhya Pradesh as part of the national campaign against sickle cell anaemia.

Additionally, service-oriented activities will be undertaken in tribal regions covering health, education, nutrition, skill development, sanitation, water conservation, and environmental protection.

To highlight environmental conservation, the Prime Minister will present a sapling to a beneficiary of a women’s self-help group under the ‘Ek Bagiya Maa Ke Naam’ initiative, promoting both ecological sustainability and women’s empowerment.
