Hundreds of people join Congress under Tony’s leadership
Says Congress only viable option for the people of the country
RS PURA, April 11th: With the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April 26th on the Jammu Lok Sabha Seat, the Congress Party has intensified its election campaign, drawing more and more people towards its fold. A meeting was organized by the party in Melobal village in the RS Pura, wherein party leaders enlightened the people about the policies of the Congress Party.
On this occasion, leaving aside other political parties, a significant number of people joined the Congress Party, who were warmly welcomed by senior party leader Taranjit Singh Tony and former Sarpanch Shyamlal Bhagat.
Speaking on the occasion, Taranjit Singh Tony said that the time has come to oust the BJP government from power. He stated that during the 10-year tenure, the BJP government has done nothing for Jammu and Kashmir except corruption, inflation, and unemployment. The farmers of the country have been protesting on the streets for a long time, and their government is not taking any action. He said that Jammu and Kashmir has also lagged behind in the field of development continuously in these 10 years.
Tony said that the present Member of Parliament has kept himself aloof from the common people and has not solved any of their problems. He emphasized that the destiny of the nation hinges on the choices made by its citizens. He fervently proclaimed that the Congress Party, with its time-tested values of inclusivity, progress, and social justice, remains the beacon of hope for millions across the country.
Acknowledging the challenges faced by the nation, Tony articulated that only through the leadership of the Congress Party can these challenges be effectively addressed. He highlighted the party’s unwavering commitment to upholding the constitutional values of democracy, secularism, and equality, which form the bedrock of India’s identity as a diverse and pluralistic nation.
Tony passionately reiterated that the Congress Party stands steadfast in its dedication to serving the interests of all sections of society, regardless of caste, creed, or religion. He emphasized that the party’s vision for India is one of unity, progress, and prosperity for every citizen, where no one is left behind or marginalized.
Furthermore, Tony urged the people of the country to repose their trust in the Congress Party and its ideals, asserting that it alone possesses the vision, experience, and resolve to lead the nation towards a brighter future. He called upon the electorate to cast their votes judiciously in the upcoming elections, recognizing the profound impact that their choices will have on the trajectory of the nation.
He appealed to the people to make the Congress Party’s candidate, Raman Bhalla, successful by casting their votes in the Lok Sabha elections scheduled for April 26th on the Jammu constituency seat.
On this occasion, former Sarpanch and Congress leader Shyamlal Bhagat said that there is continuous support from the common people in the meetings organized by the Congress Party, which indicates that the Congress Party will win both seats in the Jammu region.
Appealing to the people, he said that they should vote for the Congress Party and make the Congress candidate successful. On this occasion, Roshan Lal Bhagat and others were also present.
