ICC J&K Chairman Rahul Sahai Showcases Jammu & Kashmir’s Industrial Potential At Czech National Day Celebration

• Rahul Sahai Invites Czech Ambassador To Visit J&K, Highlights Cultural Heritage And Investment Opportunities

New Delhi: On the special invitation of the Embassy of the Czech Republic, Rahul Sahai, Chairman, Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Jammu & Kashmir, attended the celebration of the National Day of the Czech Republic held at the Czech Embassy in New Delhi. The event was hosted by H.E. Mrs. Eliska Zigova, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to India, and Mr. Peter Ziga, and witnessed the gracious presence of ambassadors from various countries, senior diplomats, industrialists, and other eminent citizens of India.

During the occasion, Rahul Sahai presented an idol of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to H.E. Mrs. Eliska Zigova as a token of goodwill and cultural respect from the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir. He explained the significance of Maa Durga, the goddess symbolizing strength, protection, and prosperity, and extended a warm invitation to the Ambassador to visit Jammu & Kashmir, the land of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, known for its spiritual heritage, scenic beauty, and growing industrial potential.

Sahai also shared insights from his recent visit to Brno, Czech Republic, where he attended the MSV International Engineering Fair—one of Europe’s leading industrial exhibitions. He highlighted the immense opportunities for collaboration between Czech industries and J&K’s emerging manufacturing and engineering sectors, particularly in areas such as automotive components, machinery, technology transfer, and skill development.

The Czech Republic, known for its strong engineering base, innovation, and industrial precision, offers vast potential for bilateral cooperation with Indian states like Jammu & Kashmir, which is now open for global investment under progressive industrial policies. Mr. Sahai emphasized that partnerships between Czech companies and J&K entrepreneurs can lead to mutually beneficial outcomes in technology, renewable energy, education, and tourism.

Sahai appreciated the efforts of Ambassador Eliska Zigova for strengthening India–Czech relations, and reaffirmed the commitment of the Indian Chamber of Commerce Jammu to play an active role in building sustainable trade and investment linkages between the two regions.
