India, Mar 03 : The International Cricket Council (ICC) has named Javagal Srinath and Andy Pycroft as match referees for the semifinals of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, set to be held in Kolkata and Mumbai on March 4 and 5. The appointments highlight the ICC’s emphasis on experience and fairness as the tournament reaches its knockout stage.

The first semifinal at Eden Gardens in Kolkata will see South Africa face New Zealand on March 4, with Srinath officiating as match referee. Richard Illingworth and Alex Wharf will serve as on-field umpires, Nitin Menon as third umpire, and Rod Tucker as fourth umpire.
