Shreya Ghoshal lends her voice to anthem celebrating grit, unity, and passion of women cricketers

New Delhi : The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday launched the official anthem for the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025, titled “Bring It Home”. Sung by acclaimed Indian playback singer Shreya Ghoshal, the song combines rhythm, melody, and emotion to capture the energy of the tournament and unite fans across the globe.

Featuring vibrant hooks like “Tarikita Tarikita Tarikita Dhom” and the heartbeat-inspired “Dhak Dhak, we bring it home”, the anthem reflects the determination and dreams of women cricketers stepping onto the world stage. Lyrics such as “Patthar pighlana hai, Ek naya itihas banana hai” (We have to melt stones and forge a new history) emphasize resilience and the spirit of overcoming challenges.

Ghoshal expressed her excitement, saying, “It has been a wonderful experience to be part of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 through the official event song that celebrates the spirit, strength and unity of women’s cricket. I hope it inspires fans and creates lasting memories as we celebrate this exciting tournament.”
