Pak PM Imran Khan Writes To Zuckerberg To Ban Islamophobic Content on FB
Pakistan PM Imran Khan on Sunday wrote to Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of social media site Facebook, requesting that the social media platform ban Islamophobic content.
Imran in his letter requested the ban to such content as it is encouraging hate and extremism. “I am writing to draw your attention to the growing Islamophobia that is encouraging hate, extremism and violence across the world and especially through the use of social media platforms including Facebook,” the letter read.
