Bangkok, Feb 20: India A Women booked their place in the Women’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 final with a commanding five-wicket triumph over Sri Lanka A Women in the first semi final at Terdthai Cricket Ground on Friday.
Chasing 119, India A completed the task in 13.3 overs, finishing at 119/5 to seal a dominant victory and confirm their spot in Sunday’s title clash. They will meet the winner of the Bangladesh A vs Pakistan A semi-final later in the day.
Radha Yadav delivers match winning all round performance
Captain Radha Yadav led from the front, earning Player of the Match honours for her impactful all round effort. She dismantled Sri Lanka A’s innings with figures of 4/19 before steering the chase with an unbeaten 31.
At the top, Vrinda Dinesh provided early momentum with a rapid 42 off 20 deliveries. Anushka Sharma contributed 27 from 18 balls, while Nandini Kashyap added 13. Tejal Hasabnis and Minnu Mani calmly guided the side across the line.
