Delhi, February 19, 2026: Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the India AI Impact Summit 2026 at Bharat Mandapam on Thursday, marking one of the largest global assemblies focused on artificial intelligence. The ceremony began with a family photograph of participating world leaders around 9:15 am, followed by the official opening at 9:40 am. The inaugural session featured speeches by French President Emmanuel Macron, UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, and senior figures from global industry and technology sectors. Following the formal launch, PM Modi toured the India AI Impact Expo, which showcases international AI innovations, country pavilions, and cutting-edge tools driving the next wave of technological transformation.

At noon, the Prime Minister joined the Leaders’ Plenary session, engaging with Heads of State, ministers, and representatives from multilateral organisations to discuss AI governance frameworks, infrastructure development, and international cooperation.

The summit continues into the evening with a CEO Roundtable at 5:30 pm, where global tech executives are expected to explore investment opportunities, research partnerships, supply chain resilience, and the large-scale deployment of AI solutions across industries.
