NEW DELHI, Sept 20: India’s software services exports grew 8.2% year-on-year to $221.4 billion in 2025-26, according to data from the Reserve Bank of India, highlighting continued expansion in the country’s technology services sector. Business Standard
The increase was driven primarily by computer-related services, which continued to account for a major share of India’s overseas software earnings. The United States remained the biggest market for Indian software service providers during the financial year. Business Standard
The latest figures underline the importance of technology services to India’s external sector, as companies continue to serve international clients across software development, IT-enabled services and other digital segments.
The growth comes amid changing global demand for technology services and increased investment in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing and digital infrastructure.
