India, Dec 06 : India’s aviation sector is facing another turbulent morning on December 6, 2025, with IndiGo flight cancellations today causing widespread disruptions across major airports. Passengers departing early from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad reported uncertainty over departures despite overnight efforts by airline and airport teams to restore schedules.

Officials issued multiple advisories through the night, but travellers continue to face sudden changes to their flight timings. The Civil Aviation Ministry said its immediate priority is restoring normal operations and confirmed that a probe is underway to determine how the situation escalated.

IGIA said IndiGo’s operations are “steadily resuming,” but urged all passengers to recheck their flight status before leaving home.

Ahmedabad Airport

Between midnight and 6 am, seven arrivals and 12 departures were cancelled, airport officials confirmed.

Thiruvananthapuram Airport

Scheduled: 11 domestic arrivals, 11 domestic departures, 2 international arrivals and 2 international departures

Cancellations so far: 3 domestic arrivals and 3 domestic departures
