BGMI giants iQOO SouL clinch the CEGC 2025 title with a dominant Grand Finals performance under the Smash Rule format
India, Nov 18: iQOO SOUL, the Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) division of S8UL and one of India’s most influential esports organisations, delivered a commanding performance to win the Chennai Esports Global Championship (CEGC) 2025. The team secured the title after an intense three day Grand Finals held from November 14 to 16 in Chennai, thrilling fans with high pressure gameplay and sharp execution.
Competing under the BGMI Smash Rule format, iQOO SouL clinched victory with a decisive win in the 16th match of the finale. The champions wrapped up the tournament with 162 points, four crucial Chicken Dinners, and 107 eliminations, taking home ₹21 lakh from the total ₹50 lakh prize pool.
The championship-winning roster—Nakul “NakuL” Sharma, Harsh “Goblin” Paudwal, Yash “LEGIT” Chaudhary, Khush “Jokerr” Singh, and Aaryaman “Thunder” Seth—displayed consistency and resilience throughout the Grand Finals. Guided by IGL Nakul’s precise mid-game strategies and composed late-game control, iQOO SouL outperformed some of India’s strongest BGMI teams. Nakul’s exceptional leadership also earned him the Best IGL award, highlighting his tactical brilliance and clutch decision-making.
