ITI Udhampur organises Koushal Deekshant Samroh-2022
UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 18: As per directions issued from DGT Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship Government of India and Skill Development Department J&K, A mega “Koushal Deekshant Samroh-2022” 1st of its kind in the history of ITI, was organised at Government ITI Udhampur, the other day.
Lal Chand, Chairman District Development Council (DDC) Udhampur was the chief guest in the Ceremony. This 1stSkill Convocation Ceremony was organized for all those Trainees who passed out in different Trades from ITI Udhampur during the Session 2022 which was attended by about 130 pass outs students.
The programme started with the lighting of lamp by the Chief Guest in presence of Director Skill Development Sudershan Kumar, Chairman IMC ITI Arun P. Gupta, Principal Polytechnic Udhampur, Er.Vivek Mahajan & Superintendent ITI Udhampur, Er. Naresh Singh, which was followed by the presentation of SarswatiVandna by the female trainees of the ITI.
Er. Naresh Singh, Superintendent ITI, in his welcome address congratulated all the ITI Pass out Trainees present in the programme and asked them to take the maximum benefit of Skill Training acquired in different trades by them by joining the Govt/Private Organizations, starting their own units with the help of different Govt Schemes, getting higher education, becoming entrepreneurs in respective fields.
The Director Skill Development extended his best wishes to all the 130 NTC Skill Qualified Trainees and stressed for utilizing their acquired skills after working in different jobs/fields so that they can fulfill the requirement of skilled persons in country & Worldwide. The Director Skill Development wished all the students a very successful career in their future life.
Chairman IMC ITI Udhampur, Arun P. Gupta, also congratulated all the trainees present in the programme and advised them to take the benefit of Government Schemes to excel in the fields of skill acquired in the ITI.
Chief Guest, Chairman DDC, Lal Chand awarded the meritorious Trainees, who stood 1st in their respective Trades with Mementos & Certificates. The Chief Guest also distributed the Marks Sheets and National Trade Certificates to all the 130 trainees who passed out in different Trades of ITI Udhampur.
In his address to the pass out trainees, the Chief Guest congratulated and lauded the efforts of Department of Skill Development and Superintendent ITI Udhampur for imparting excellent Skills in different trades to the youths of Udhampur District and making them Self-reliant. He also gave his heartiest wishes to all the trainees present during the Convocation Ceremony for their future journey. He reminded of Central & UT Govt. youth friendly policies/schemes launched in recent years and asked the youths of ITI to come forward and take the maximum benefit of these schemes so that they can contribute in building a “New India” & “Atmnirbhar Bharat”
Earlier, Chief Guest, Director Skill Development J&K, Chairman IMC, Principal Polytechnic, Superintendent ITI, Staff Members & all the ITI Pass outs also watched live ceremony addressed by Prime Minister, Union Minister MSDE, Film Director, UGC Chairman, Secretary MSDE, DGT & others.
An awareness programme was also organized for the ITI Pass outs by DIC Udhampur about the subsidized Prime Minister Employment Guarantee (PMEGP) Scheme, fully financed by Banks to start their own units and become entrepreneurs so as to be known as “Job Creators rather than Job Seekers.”
The DIC Udhampur told in detail about the whole online process along with documents required and assured full cooperation whenever needed by the unemployed youths.
Lastly, the Chief Guest facilitated Chairman IMC & Director Skill Development J&K with mementos. Govt. ITI Udhampur also facilitated the Chief Guest with a memento.
Manmohan Raj, Senior faculty ITI Udhampur, presented vote of thanks to Chief Guest, Director Skill Development, Chairman IMC, other dignitaries present who spared their valuable time and participated in 1st Skill Convocation Ceremony. Staff Members of ITI Udhampur, Representatives of DIC also graced the occasion with their presence. The 1st Skill Convocation Ceremony closed with the National Anthem in the end.
