Jammu and Kashmir Government Elevates 13 JKAS Officers in Recent Promotion Orders
28-11-2023 : The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has undertaken a significant administrative measure, announcing the promotion of thirteen Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service (JKAS) officers. The General Administration Department of the J&K Government issued separate orders delineating the promotions, encompassing Selection Grade, Special Scale, and non-functional elevations.
Kapil Sharma has been elevated to the JKAS Selection Grade (Level 12), effective from September 4, 2014. Concurrently, Sushil Kesar, Pawan Kumar, Anshuman Singh, Manpreet Kour, and Swarn Singh have been promoted to the Selection Grade notionally from April 7, 2021, and on a regular basis from October 10, 2023.
In a parallel development, Parveez Ahmad Raina has been granted promotion to the Special Scale of JKAS (Pay Level 13), effective from October 10, 2023.
The cascading impact of promotions extends further, with non-functional Selection Grade conferred upon Akhtar Hussain Qazi and Anil Kumar Thakur. Additionally, non-functional Special Scale promotions have been accorded to Akhtar Hussain Qazi, Sushil Kesar, Hamida Akhter, and Anil Kumar Thakur.
