07-11-2023 : On November 7, a seismic event with a magnitude of 3.5 rattled the region of Kishtwar in Jammu and Kashmir. The earthquake, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS), struck at 6:52 pm local time. The epicenter of the quake was pinpointed at a location 215 kilometers north of Ayodhya, with a depth of 10 kilometers beneath the Earth’s surface.

The NCS provided specific details about the seismic event, stating, “Earthquake of Magnitude: 3.5, Occurred on November 7, 18:52:12 IST, Lat: 33.38 N & Long: 76.59 E, Depth: 10 Km, Region: Kishtwar, Jammu and Kashmir.”
