JAMMU, Apr 18: Jammu and Kashmir reported 76 new cases of COVID-19 in the past 24 hours, with no deaths due to the virus, as per officials on Tuesday. Out of the 76 cases, 43 were reported from Jammu division and 33 from Kashmir Valley, bringing the total tally to 481,064. Among the cases, 174,676 are from Jammu division and 306,388 from Kashmir Valley.
In terms of districts, Jammu reported 30 cases, Udhampur 6, Rajouri 1, Doda 2, Kathua 1, Samba 0, Poonch 1, Ramban 0, Reasi 2, Srinagar 10, Baramulla 3, Budgam 11, Pulwama 1, Kupwara 0, Anantnag 2, Bandipora 3, Ganderbal 0, Kulgam 2, Shopian 1. No deaths were reported in either Jammu division or Kashmir Valley during this time period. The total number of deaths due to the virus in Jammu and Kashmir stands at 4,789, including 2,356 from Jammu division and 2,433 from the Valley. Furthermore, 91 COVID-19 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, with 43 from Jammu division and 48 from Kashmir Valley. Currently, there are 723 active cases, with 345 in Jammu and 345 in Kashmir.
