Jk Congress holds Marathon meet to discuss action plan against US -Indo deal, terms it anti farmers, anti fruit growers

• PM is compromised, surrenders before US every time

  Jammu, Feb 26- JKPCC today held a marathon six-hour-long meeting to chalk out an action plan to oppose, tooth and nail the unilateral US  -India trade deal, which has been termed as anti farmers likely to hit hard the farmers, fruit growers and others in J&K more than other parts of the country.

  PCC President Shri Tariq Hameed Karra chaired the day-long meet of prominent Congress leaders from all twenty districts from the Kashmir and Jammu region, including Senior leaders, MLAs, former ministers/legislators, PCC observers & coordinators for districts, DCC Presidents and former presidents, heads of frontal wings and other senior leaders.

  AICC General Secretary & CLP Leader G. A. Mir also attended the important meeting today, on the directions of AICC. Bajwa, Sheikh Haider, Mirza Muzffar Beg, Krishan Chander Baghat,  Arvinder Singh Micky, Subash Gupta, T.S. Tony-DDC, Sain Abdul Rashid (DDC), S.S. Channi, Th. Hari Singh Chib, Rajnish Sharma(Treasurer),  Imtiyaz Khandey, Shashi Sharma,, Namrata Sharma, Bhushan Dogra, all DCC Presidents Shah Nawaz Chaudhary (Poonch), Neeraj Kundan (Jammu Rural), Pankaj Dogra (Kathua), Pyare Lal Shan(Kishtwar, Haji Farooq Mir- Kupwara, Farooq Ahmed Bhat(Anantnag), Adil Mir( Srinagar), Smt. Shabnam Jan (Shopian), Sanjeev Sharma (Samba, Sumeet Magotra (Udhampur),  Ajay Salaria (Reasi),  Mohd Ishar Naik   (Ramban) ,  Javed Iqbal Lone(Doda) , Ashok Sharma(Rajouri, Farooq Ahmad Mir( Kupwara), senior functionaries of PCC and frontal heads including Smt. Shameema Raina(Mahila Cong), Vijay Sharma(Seva Dal), Ajay Lakhotra (NSUI), attended and took part in the deliberations.

Addressing the meeting Shri Karra said that  the recent US India deal will destroy the farmers, fruit growers and others especially hot hard the different sections in Jammu &Kashmir. He said that US has imposed a deal upon India as the Prime Minister is compromised due to various pressures and has bartered the interests of farmers in the country. It has happened for the first time that farmers interests have been compromised which will destroy the farming community including those in allied sectors like poultry, dairy etc.

He said that Congress party & entire opposition has raised serious objections over the  mode and manner and contents of the deal which anti farmers, anti- people and against the interests of nation as prime minister has sold the interests of nation in the hands of US under pressure of episteen files and Adani case.

He said that party shall launch a vigorous campaign to oppose and expose the BJP government of Narendra Modi for the sellout of national interests in the hands of US President Donald trump, who is dictating India under Modi.

He asked the congress cadres to rise to the occasion, aware the farmers and stand with them at this hour of need.He said party has planned a series of Fruit growers and farmers sammellans in Kashmir valley and Jammu region and has invited Congress President Shri Malikarjun Kharge and LOP Rahul Gandhi ji to attend, next month. Meanwhile district level and north,south and central zone farmers programmes are being planned from Ist March.,8th march etc .

He condemned the illegal and unjustified arrest of IYC President Udey Bhanu Chib, who is son of soil .Holding peaceful protest to lodge opposition to the wrong policies of BJP government ,has become a crime in the country under Modi government. The Congress party is fully behind the youth Congress workers and would come on streets in every nook and corner of J&K to seek his release and hold series of protests .

AICC  General Secretary & CLP Leader G A Mir strongly advocated for creating awareness campaigns for farmers and common people getting highly affected by this deal. He said first time a compromised prime minister has sold out the interests of farmers and countrymen in the hands of US President Donald trump due to fear of Epstein files and his friend Adani case.

He said Congress leadership of Shri Kharge ji and Rahul Gandhi ji is very particular to oppose and save the interests of farmers, who are likely to get more affected in our UT and few other states.

He said that Congress party will expose Modi government ‘s wrong decisions under undue pressure of US ,as being understood by every one due to open claims of Trump himself.

He strongly condemned the illegal arrest of Udey Bhanu Chib and the authoritarian policies of Modi government following vendetta politics against Congress leaders and opposition. He lauded youth of party to take the lead to oppose the wrong policies of Modi government and BJP.

Working President Shri Raman Bhalla said that party cadres shall reach out to the people especially farmers to aware them of the dangerous consequences of the US deal which is unilaterally announced by US President like ceasefire during Operation Sindhoor.
He expressed grave concern over the dictates of US President and surrender of our prime minister due to obvious reasons.

He lauded the youth Congress workers for raising voice against the sell of country inttrsts and termed the arrest of IYC President Udey Bhanu Chib as illegal and dictatorial.

He said that Congress will oppose tooth and nail the authoritarian policies of Modi government and wrong decisions of BJP.

Several senior leaders and DCC Presidents took part in the deliberations to put forth their suggestions and views.
The meeting  decided to launch a vigorous campaign against US deal and dictatorial action of BJP government against youth Congress.
