J&K Counter Intelligence Carries Out Raids at Eight Locations in Valley
Raids carried out in Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kupwara, Pulwama and Shopian under FIR 3/2023
Srinagar, Sep 20: Jammu and Kashmir Police’s Counter Intelligence Kashmir (CIK) on Saturday launched searches at eight locations across the Valley in connection with an ongoing terror related investigation, officials said.
The coordinated raids were carried out in Srinagar, Baramulla, Anantnag, Kupwara, Pulwama, and Shopian districts. Officials confirmed that the searches were conducted under a court-issued warrant pertaining to case FIR No. 3/2023 registered at Police Station CIK.
Authorities said the operation is part of wider efforts to trace links and gather evidence in the case. However, no immediate details were shared on seizures or arrests made during the searches.
