J&K gets Rs 35581 crore central assistance in Union budget 2023-24

Srinagar,01-02-2023 : The Union Budget, which was presented to the Lok Sabha on Wednesday by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, includes Rs 35581 crore for the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.
According to the budget documents, the Union budget for 2023–2024 includes Rs 35581 crore for Jammu & Kashmir.
The records state that the revised forecasts for the current fiscal year have risen sharply.
Compared to budget expectations of Rs. 35581 crore, the revised estimates for UT have increased to Rs. 44538.
