J&K Government Reforms Key Administrative Panel: Establishment Cum Selection Committee Reconstituted
Chief Secretary to Chair Panel with Key Departmental Secretaries
JAMMU, Jan 21: The Jammu and Kashmir government has reconstituted the Establishment-cum-Selection Committee, effective January 20, 2026, according to an official order issued by the General Administration Department.
The revamped committee will be chaired by the Chief Secretary of J&K. Its members include the Financial Commissioners of Jal Shakti and Tourism departments, the Principal Secretary Finance, the Commissioner/Secretary of the General Administration Department, and the Secretary of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs.
The reconstitution is aimed at streamlining administrative and selection processes within the Union Territory.
