J&K Police Nab Notorious Gangster in Mumbai
Gangster Royal Singh, wanted in multiple murder and extortion cases, arrested in Mumbai,J&K police to take him into custody
Mumbai, Sept 24: A notorious gangster wanted in multiple criminal cases in Jammu and Kashmir was arrested by Mumbai police from Worli on Tuesday, officials confirmed.
The accused, Royal Singh, has been evading authorities for several days while hiding in Mumbai. He is wanted in cases involving murder, extortion, and narcotics smuggling, and was also absconding in a case registered under the Arms Act in Jammu.
Royal Singh’s name surfaced in connection with the murder of gangster Rajesh Dogra, which also led to a case being registered against him in Mohali. Additionally, he was involved in the 2009 murder of the son of former MLC Amandeep Singh.
A team from Jammu and Kashmir Police has been dispatched to Mumbai to take Singh into custody. Authorities emphasized that his arrest marks a significant breakthrough in ongoing efforts to apprehend fugitives involved in serious crimes across states.
