J&K Recruitment Board to Hold Examinations for Over 4,700 Posts in March and April
17-02-2023 : According to an official, the Jammu and Kashmir Service Selection and Recruitment Board has finalized the list of more than 2,300 successful candidates for government posts, which will help in reducing staff shortages in various departments, including the health department. The chairman of the SSRB, Rajesh Sharma, stated that the board has completed the list of 1,534 candidates for junior assistant posts referred by various departments.
Additionally, the board has also finalized the list of selected candidates for the posts of junior staff nurse (582) and ANM/health worker (202). Sharma added that there was a delay in finalizing the list due to some candidates going to court, but the process was expedited after recent court orders. The board plans to hold examinations for over 4,700 posts in various departments, including Junior Engineers, Finance Accounts Assistants, and Panchayat Secretaries in the months of March and April this year. Sharma said the board was working on forming a calendar of activities for the recruitment of government jobs to help expedite the recruitment process.
