J&K will soon become new model for development under Modi regime: Kavinder
JAMMU, Sept 7: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta on Wednesday said that soon J&K will become new model for development in the country under Modi government.
He was addressing a small gathering after launching work on concrete wall of Nallah at Valmiki Colony at an estimated cost of Rs.80 lakh. BJP District President Vinay Gupta, Mandal President Neeraj (Lucky) Puri, Narinder Gupta (Koki), District Secretary BJP and Councilor Ward No 20 Rahul Kumar, Gandhi Nagar Mandal General secretary Nayan Gupta, BJP Gandhi Nagar Mandal Secretary Rachit Khosla, Ward President Satbir Singh, Sandeep Gupta, Valmiki President Jung Bahadur, Badal, Ram Singh, Sham Singh and others were present on the occasion.
The BJP stalwart Kavinder said that the areas in Jammu region which faced discrimination of the successive governments for years together are now been prioritized to see development as never before. He said that the local administration and the central dispensation are working with complete synergy to realize record level of development in J&K. He said that the way the big development projects are fast approaching completion the time is not far away when the J&K Model of development will become common term in the country as no other state or UT is developing with such a lightning speed.
The former Deputy Chief Minister appreciated Corporator Ward No 20 Rahul Kumar for playing pivotal role in carrying out development works with an aim to provide civic amenities to the people of Gandhi Nagar area. He said that work on the Jammu Smart City Project is moving with lightning speed as the city is changing and upgrading with each passing day.
Councilor Rahul also appreciated the LG’s administration for giving plenty of funds to carry out development in the Jammu region. He said that never in the history of J&K such a big scale of development was seen ever. He said that the vision of PM Modi is so broad and farsighted that his endeavours in J&K has changed the scenario with one and all looking forward to the progress being made by the UT.
