JKHCBAJ Marks International Women’s Day with Enthusiasm; Shivratri Bhandara Enhances Celebration
Jammu, 07-03-2024 : Jammu & Kashmir High Court Bar Association Jammu (JKHCBAJ) celebrated International Women’s Day with immense enthusiasm and spirit today in the Ladies Bar Room, District Court Complex. The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Vice President Amit Gupta, setting the tone for the day’s festivities.
Hon’ble Mrs. Justice Sindhu Sharma, accompanied by Special Judge CBI Court Ms. Bala Jyoti, graced the occasion, adding to the significance of the event. Addressing a gathering of budding female advocates, Hon’ble Justice Mrs. Sindhu Sharma emphasized the importance of dedication, perseverance, and hard work in shaping successful careers in the legal profession.
In addition to the celebration of International Women’s Day, JKHCBAJ organized a vibrant Bhandara on the eve of Maha-Shivratri. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of all the judges of the Hon’ble High Court, who congratulated the members of the Bar onthe occasion. Members of the association enthusiastically participated in the Bhandara, contributing to the festive atmosphere.
Mr. Vikram Sharma, Senior Advocate and President of JKHCBAJ, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the attendees and participants for their unwavering support and enthusiasm in making both events a resounding success. He reiterated the Association’s commitment to promote gender equality and empowering women in the legal profession.
The celebration of International Women’s Day and the Shivratri Bhandara not only fostered camaraderie and solidarity but also highlighted the significant contributions of women in the legal fraternity. All the Office bearers of the J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu namely Sh. Vikram Sharma, Senior Advocate & President JKHCBAJ, Sh. Amit Gupta Vice-President, Sh. Parvesh Singh Salaria General Secretary, Sh. Chetan Misri Joint Secretary, Sh. Utkarsh Pathania Treasurer were present.
Sh. Rohit Sharma (President, YLA), S. Gagandeep Singh Lucky (Vice President YLA), Sh. Yaseer Farooq Khan (General Secretary YLA), S. Karanjeet Singh Johal (Joint Secretary YLA), Sh. Naresh Kumar (Treasurer YLA) were also present.
