Justice Will Be Delivered To Every Terror Victim In J&K: LG Manoj Sinha Vows

Over 250 terror affected families provided jobs; remaining cases to be addressed after elections, says LG during visit to Kupwara’s Dardpora village.

Srinagar, Oct 15: Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to delivering justice to victims of Pakistan backed terrorism and ensuring their rehabilitation across the Union Territory.

“We have started a campaign over the past three to four months, and we will ensure that justice is done to all victims of terror,” Sinha told reporters during his visit to Dardpora village in Kupwara district  a region deeply scarred by decades of violence.

Highlighting recent initiatives, the Lieutenant Governor said that over 250 people who had suffered due to terrorism have been provided government jobs. “The remaining cases are also in progress. They will get jobs after the elections,” he added.

Taking to social media platform X, Sinha reiterated his administration’s commitment to ensuring dignity and opportunity for families affected by terrorism.
“Today, I interacted with terror victim families at Dardpora, Kupwara, and also addressed the next of kin of terror victims at GDC Kupwara. I assured them that their decades-long trauma, torment, and suffering are over. We’ll ensure all possible support so that they can reclaim their lives,” he wrote.

He further stated that families of civilians killed by Pakistan-backed terrorists were long denied justice and access to resources. “These systemic barriers have now been removed. We are ensuring justice, dignity, and opportunities for all terror victim families,” Sinha said.

The J&K administration has intensified efforts to rehabilitate victims of terrorism through employment, financial aid, and social empowerment schemes, signalling a broader policy push toward inclusive recovery in the post conflict phase.
