Kabir Bedi Celebrates ‘Gandhi’ Series Premiere at TIFF, Pays Tribute to Dadabhai Naoroji

Veteran actor Kabir Bedi recently shared his excitement over portraying Dadabhai Naoroji in the upcoming series Gandhi, calling it one of the most meaningful roles of his career.
The actor posted snapshots from the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF), where the series made its grand premiere. In one photo, Bedi poses with music maestro AR Rahman. He captioned the post, “‘Gandhi’ premieres to a standing ovation at TIFF. Proud to have played the grand old man of India, Dadabhai Naoroji, who inspired Gandhi in his early days in London. The 79-year-old actor also shared moments from a pre-TIFF screening dinner with the Gandhi team, noting, “Great honour for the series produced by @sameern @applausesocial @sidkhaitan to be selected for TIFF in the Prime Time category, with music by maestro @arrahman. The first show from India to ever be selected!”
The TIFF premiere was attended by director Hansal Mehta, actors Pratik Gandhi, Tom Felton, Bhamini Oza, Kabir Bedi, along with AR Rahman and producer Sameer Nair, who walked the red carpet together.
The series, depicting Mahatma Gandhi’s early life and the influential figures who shaped his journey, received a warm response from audiences, earning a standing ovation at the festival.
