Kashmir to Kanyakumari: RSS Shatak Dhwaj Yatra Continues Its Nationwide Journey with a Grand March in Jammu

Jammu | February 6, 2026: Marking 100 years of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), the nationwide “Kashmir to Kanyakumari” Dhwaj Yatra, which is associated with the film Shatak: Sangh’s 100 Years, reached Jammu today after a powerful beginning at Srinagar’s historic Lal Chowk. Passing through key roads of Jammu in a peaceful and enthusiastic atmosphere, the yatra carried forward the message of discipline, patriotism, and cultural pride, as the saffron flag symbolizing India’s national consciousness fluttered proudly across the city.

Through the Dhwaj Yatra, the RSS’s century-long journey of ideology, social service, and commitment to the nation was powerfully showcased. The initiative highlights the Sangh’s significant contribution to India’s freedom struggle and nation-building—shaped by the guiding vision of Guruji Madhav Sadashiv Golwalkar Ji and carried forward in modern times under the leadership of Dr. Mohan Bhagwat Ji, whose continued emphasis on unity, service, and national consciousness has strengthened the organization’s impact across generations.

Speaking on the occasion, RSS Karyakarta and film producer Vir Kapur said, “Beginning this yatra from Lal Chowk was a heartfelt tribute to the RSS volunteers, local Kashmiri citizens, and the brave Indian Army personnel who made immense sacrifices during Kashmir’s most defining period. This journey honours that historic struggle—an untold story we aim to bring every Indian before through Shatak. The participation of local residents, social organizations, and our Kashmiri brothers from the Muslim community reflects that this initiative stands for unity, service, and the collective spirit of the nation.”

Conceptualized by Anil D. Agrawal and directed by Ashish Mal, the film is co-produced by Ashish Tiwari with associate producers Pavan Sindhi and Kabir Sadanand and is set for a nationwide theatrical release on February 19, 2026.

Shatak: Sangh’s 100 Years is not just a film—it is an experience that brings alive a century of service, sacrifice, and national spirit.
