Spending nearly an hour at the MJSports bat manufacturing unit located in Charsoo Awantipora, the cricket legend’s presence was hailed as a significant development for the region’s cricket bat industry.
Owner Mohammad Shaheen Parrey expressed optimism about Tendulkar’s visit, noting its potential to elevate the demand for Kashmir willow bats, a specialty of the region. Tendulkar, renowned for his cricketing prowess, displayed a keen interest in Kashmir cricket bats, engaging in discussions and expressing admiration for the quality produced by the MJ Sports unit.
