Kashmiri Pandits Conference ( KPC ) reiterates its demand of opening of Wandhama, Nadi Marg ,Sangrampura massacre cases
06-01-2023 : Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC ) demanded the opening of Wandhama , Nadi Marg , Sangrampura and other KP,s killing cases which were closed down from more than two decades and no one was held accountable, responsible and punished, so for, despite of repeated demand of victim KP community leadership,in particular by KPC for an impartial probe and responsible killers and conspirators to be held accountable, punished and hanged.
Condemning the ignoring attitude of the central and union territory Govt,s towards the plight and demands of the displaced KP community, Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC said that they (displaced KP,s) are not treated at par with all citizens of India nation which can simply. judge from the treatment given to them in exile, their Youths and employees from the last thirty-three years and being a minuscule minority, do not form a vote bank, so leaders at the helm of affairs and political parties consider them useless.
Kundan Kashmiri further said that their petty land holdings were snatched from them under the guise of so called progressive land reforms, distress sale and encroachments which gave a severe jolt to the economic standing of the victim community as the land was taken from them without any alternative rehabilitation and compensation. Later their PM package employees were time to time deliberately harassed no body hearing them sitting on dharna for a long, the demand of the enhancement of monthly relief are unheard, their political standing, as well as their share in top levels of bureaucracy, is negligible.. The future of this community is uncertain and their presence is full of misery and distress.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC further stated that the Cash doles and meager assistance is not the magnanimity of the rulers but it is the constitutional duty of the government as the powers had failed to protect the life, limb, property, and dignity at their homes in Kashmir.
He said that the government is always ready to talk with those who oppose the country, break the law, and indulge in stone pelting, but not with victim KP,s who have sacrificed everything for the nation and were always taken for granted.
He again appealed to the central and JK union territory governments to have meaningful talks with the expired KP community and its leadership to mitigate their problems and accept their genuine demands as well as open the Wandhama, Nadhi Marg massacres and other killing cases and have responsible culprits held, convicted, and punished as earliest as possible..
