Kavinder slams Congress for aligning with Pakistan’s Narrative amid Pahalgam Terror Attack

Asks Congress to publicly apologize for their actions

Jammu, April 29: Senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta today strongly criticized the Congress party for its recent social media post targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The post, which depicted a headless figure of the Prime Minister with the caption “gayab” (missing), was shared on Congress’s official X handle in the wake of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 innocent lives.
In a press release issued here today, the BJP stalwart expressed his deep concern over the Congress party’s actions, stating that it was not only highly inappropriate but also a direct alignment with Pakistan’s narrative. “It is deeply disturbing that the Congress party, a national political entity, has sunk to such a low by sharing this offensive post at a time when India stands united in its resolve to counter terrorism. By sharing this image, Congress is not just mocking the leadership of our nation, but also sending a dangerous message that resonates with the enemies of India,” he remarked.
The senior BJP leader emphasized that Congress’s actions were a clear sign of double standards and political opportunism. “At a time when Prime Minister Modi has unequivocally called out Pakistan for its role in sponsoring terrorism, Congress’s actions are a hit in every patriot in the country. The party’s actions appear to be in line with the sinister ideology of groups like Lashkar-e-Pakistan, whose intentions are nothing but to undermine the sovereignty of India,” he added.
Kavinder further stated that the Congress party’s leadership needs to explain their actions to the nation. “Congress’s ideology, as displayed by their social media post, appears to be one where they believe in the dangerous narrative of ‘sar tan se juda’ (head separated from body). This is not just an attack on the Prime Minister but an insult to every Indian citizen who values the safety and security of our nation,” Gupta concluded.
He called on Congress to publicly apologize for their actions and take responsibility for the harm caused by their offensive post, which undermines national unity at a time when the country is grieving the loss of innocent lives in the Pahalgam terror attack.
