KPC hailed the Supreme Court verdict on Article 370
11-12-2023: Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC ) welcomes the decision given by the constitutional Bench of Hounrable Supreme Court about Article 370, which upheld the decision given to remove Article 370 and 35A, its process and objective.
This historical and landmark decision of the Hounrable SupremeCourt given today on December 11, 2023, would completely change the narrative and hoax on Jammu and Kashmir, created by double standard Kashmir-centric political parties and pro– Pak elements, Abdullah,s Mufti,s and Gandhi families from the last seventy-six years, who exploited the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their own interests.
Kundan Kashmiri, Kashmir watcher, and President KPC expressed his deep-hearted gratitude and thanks to Honorable Supreme Court, and Hounrable Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi ji who has done the historic work to bring Jammu and Kashmir into the mainstream of the country, for this lakhs of Kashmiri Pandits also express their heartfelt gratitude to
the top Court and Prime Minister of India Sh.Narendra Modi Ji.
KP,s also hopes this landmark decision will benefit the most vulnerable and marginalized community of Kashmiri Pandits which has badly suffered due to Article 370, and also believes this historical Supreme Court verdict would positively help to build a stronger Jammu and Kashmir, further unite our nation and also bring great and new change in Jammu Kashmir.
Kundan Kashmiri, President KPC hoped that the Government of India would soon declare a commission of enquiry on the atrocities, killings, ethnic cleansing, loot, and arson of KP,s properties and give justice to those Kashmiri Pandits who have suffered from the last 76 years in Kashmir Valley, especially special attention is to be given to those who suffered during the turmoil in the valley from 1989–90 till date. and would hounour the Court’s directions in this regard.
As regards conducting elections and restoring the statehood of Jammu and Kashmir, the KPC Chief stated that Kashmiri Pandits in general and Kashmiri Pandit Conference ( KPC ) in particular are not in favor of restoration of statehood status to J&K and holding election as yet in Union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, which directly or indirectly means transfer of power again to those who demolished and mismanaged the Kashmir, imposed Article 370 in J&K, created the worst situation for minorities in particular for core nationalists, the Kashmiri Pandit community. and other minorities.
History stands as testimony to the fact that the Kashmir-centric politicians, who ruled J&K in the past didn’t pay much attention to the development of the erstwhile state and raked up the issues which created confusion and uncertainty.
Kundan Kashmiri, a senior leader of the Kashmiri Pandit community further said that the truth about these Kashmiri politicians is that they have a clear agenda of very limited accession with India or greater autonomy/self-rule and talks with Pakistan over Kashmir, to create political and other hegemony in J&K, to fulfill their inner agenda, as well as to get militants and other anti-nationals released..It was their seven decades of misrule by various regimes of Kashmir valley where corruption, nepotism and favoritism , sympathy and soft corner for terrorists, stone pelters and step-monthly treatment and injustice with Kashmiri Pandit minority, Pak– Pok refugees settled in Jammu and Kashmir., Jammuiti,s and others. Therefore such a step would be the biggest blender to be committed by the present dispensation at the center.
So the center must clear its firm stand before the top Court not to restore statehood and conduct elections in Jammu and Kashmir as yet till the complete situation improves in the border state of Jammu and Kashmir, Kundan Kashmiri said.
