KUWJ mourns the passing of Smt. Sarishta Khajuria, wife of senior journalist Ravi Khajuria

Jammu, July 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Union of Working Journalists (JKUWJ) convened a solemn condolence meeting to express deep sorrow over the demise of Smt. Sarishta Khajuria, the beloved wife of Shri Ravi Khajuria, Editor-in-Chief of the reputed daily newspaper Nai Roshani. The meeting was held at Gurha Morh, Bakshi Nagar, Jammu, under the presidentship of Om Dalmotra, the officiating president of JKUWJ.

Smt. Sarishta Khajuria, remembered as a kind-hearted and graceful lady, had been undergoing medical treatment for some time. Despite all efforts and care, she unfortunately could not recover and breathed her last, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled.

During the meeting, all members present observed a two-minute silence in her memory and offered heartfelt prayers for the eternal peace of the departed soul. The members expressed their deepest condolences and stood in solidarity with Shri Ravi Khajuria during this profoundly difficult and sorrowful time.

The Union conveyed that the journalistic fraternity shares in his grief and extends unwavering support to him and his family, assuring that they are not alone in this hour of mourning.
