Ladakh: Kargil District experiences fresh snowfall

23-11-2020: In Ladakh, Kargil District experienced fresh snowfall which has led to slippery road conditions, and traffic remained suspended particularly on NH 1D till weather conditions improve.

Metrology Department J&K & Ladakh has predicted snowfall on 24th and 25th.

Meanwhile the Kargil Srinagar Road NH 1D has been closed for vehicular traffic due to heavy snowfall at Zojjila and the Nh 301, the Kargil Zanskar Highway is also closed.
