LG J&K Forms Committee to Review Allocation of Central Pool MBBS/BDS Seats
New panel tasked with examining candidate nominations and ensuring fair allocation under the Central Pool scheme.
JAMMU, Sept 22: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Manoj Sinha, has ordered the constitution of a committee to examine the panel under the Central Pool MBBS and BDS Seats Allocation scheme. The move supersedes all previous orders issued on the subject.
According to the official order shared with Cross Town News, the committee will review the panel submitted by the Chairman of the Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (BoPEE). Its responsibilities include examining the list of candidates and making nominations for eligible students to the colleges identified by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India under the scheme.
The initiative aims to ensure transparency and proper implementation of the Central Pool allocation system for medical and dental education seats in Jammu and Kashmir.
