LG Kavinder Appeals in Navi Mumbai, Visit Ladakh for a Few Days
At a felicitation event, Ladakh LG highlights tourism, culture, and rapid infrastructural development under PM Modi’s leadership
Mumbai, Sept 16: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, has extended a warm invitation to the people of Navi Mumbai and Maharashtra to visit the Union Territory and experience its unmatched beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality.
Speaking at a felicitation function organised by Kohli Mahasangh Parivar Maharashtra in Navi Mumbai, the Lt Governor drew inspiration from a famous tourism campaign. “Just as Amitabh Bachchan once said, ‘Kuch Din Toh Guzariye Gujarat Mein,’ I say today ‘Kuch Din Toh Aaiyein Ladakh Mein,’” he remarked.
Gupta emphasised that Ladakh is not just a destination but an experience that stays with visitors forever. “Whichever direction you travel in Ladakh, you will find a new horizon, a new charm, and a new story waiting to be discovered,” he said.
Highlighting Ladakh’s transformation, the LG credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership for unprecedented infrastructural progress. “From Leh, one can now travel nearly 200 km deep to our borders with Pakistan on world-class roads, many of which surpass those in metropolitan states like Maharashtra,” he added.
He underlined that this development reflects the Centre’s resolve to ensure last-mile connectivity and inclusive growth. “We are working with dedication to make every corner of Ladakh a symbol of progress, prosperity, and unity. Our mission is to serve Bharat Mata with devotion and strengthen national integration,” Gupta stated.
Concluding with a personal appeal, the Lt Governor reiterated, “Kuch Din Toh Aaiyein Ladakh Mein. Come, witness its natural splendour, culture, and hospitality, and carry back memories that will last a lifetime.”
