LG Manoj Sinha Inaugurates One-Day Police Diwali Mela in Jammu
Event at Gulshan Ground sees massive public turnout and showcases cultural programs and police initiatives
JAMMU, Oct 14: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha inaugurated the one-day Police Diwali Mela at Gulshan Ground in Jammu on Tuesday. He was accompanied by J&K DGP and other senior police and civil officials.
The mela, dedicated to fallen heroes who sacrificed their lives for the nation, drew a large crowd from all walks of life. LG Sinha paid tributes to the martyrs and toured various stalls set up by district police officials, appreciating their efforts.
He also witnessed a patriotic cultural programme, lauding the organizers for successfully arranging the event. IGP Jammu, Bhim Sen Tuti, described the mela as a huge success, noting the enthusiastic participation of the public.
