Lok Sabha Adjourned Until Noon Amid Disruptions
Minister’s reply inaudible amid protests; Chair suspends proceedings shortly after session begins.
New Delhi, Feb 10: Lok Sabha proceedings were suspended until 12 noon on Tuesday after opposition members disrupted the House with sloganeering, pressing for permission to raise their concerns.
The uproar began soon after Question Hour commenced, leaving little room for regular business. Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Choudhary managed to pose a question, but the minister’s response could not be heard over the noise.
With the situation showing no signs of easing, presiding officer P. C. Mohan intervened and adjourned the House until midday to restore order.
